Roxtoberfest Returns to Ridge Avenue
Ridge Avenue from Lyceum Avenue to Leverington Avenue - FREE ADMISSION
Grab your friends, bring the family, dress up the dog, and get ready to Fall Hard. Fest Harder. Roxtoberfest returns for its 14th year, bringing one of Philadelphia’s biggest and best-loved Oktoberfest celebrations to the Ridge.
With three stages of live entertainment, local food and drink, beer gardens, family fun, artists, makers, contests, and plenty of Oktoberfest spirit, there’s a lot happening from Lyceum to Leverington.
Three Stages of Live Entertainment
The Ridge will be rocking all afternoon with music and entertainment across three stages:
- Main Stage
- RoxYunk Stage, presented by Roxborough Memorial Hospital
- Community Stage, presented by Jefferson Health
The lineup is growing, with performances from Emmanuel Ohemeng III, Perpetual Motion, The Band Joe, Action Karate, Pretzel Theater Co., and more. And, of course, Galena Brass Band will be bringing the Oktober to Roxtober! Full lineup coming soon!

Raise Your Stein
Test your strength in the Beer Stein Competition for adults or cheer on the kids in the Root Beer Stein Competition. Prizes and bragging rights are on the line!
Pet Costume Contest
One of Roxborough’s cutest traditions returns! Dress your furry friend to impress and show off their best, silliest, spookiest, or most fabulous costume.
Scarecrow Walk
Ridge Avenue gets a serious dose of fall flair as local businesses, organizations, and community members create their own scarecrows. Stroll the Ridge, snap a selfie with your favorites using #roxscarecrows, and vote for the best, funniest, and quirkiest creations. Prizes will be awarded!
Eat, Drink & Shop the Ridge
Come hungry! Enjoy food trucks and local eats, grab a drink at one of the festival’s beer gardens and bars, including the Top of the Ridge Bar, and shop local artists, makers, and community vendors.
Be sure to check out the Art on the Ridge Marketplace, featuring local creative talent and plenty of unique finds.

Live Pumpkin Carving
Watch award-winning pumpkin carver John Zeggert work his magic from noon–4 PM as he creates carved pumpkin art live on the Ridge.
The Great Fairy Games - Meet Bloom the Flower Fairy and Fauve the Animal Fairy for an interactive, all-ages game show featuring traditional games, audience participation, and plenty of fairy fun. You may even find yourself joining the action!
Take a Beat in the Community Wellness Village

Need a little breather? The Community Wellness Village gives you a place to take a beat without missing any of the Roxtoberfest action.
Discover local health and wellness resources, get information, enter raffles, stretch, test your strength, enjoy a massage, and try something new. It’s a chance to connect with local options, recharge, and have a little fun along the way.
Step Into Roxborough’s History
Leverington Cemetery | Presented by the Central Roxborough Civic Association (CRCA)
Take a break from the festival and step into Roxborough’s past at historic Leverington Cemetery, open throughout Roxtoberfest.
Explore the stories of early settlers, Revolutionary War patriots, Civil War heroes, and other remarkable community members who helped shape the neighborhood we know today.
